‘Lincoln 3D Scans’, 2012 - ongoing

Lincoln 3D Scans is a long-term project to 3D scan the collection of the Lincoln Museum and Usher Gallery in Lincoln, UK. The scanned 3D models are made public through a designated website, where they can be downloaded for free without copyright restrictions. As 3D models still come at a price due to the high cost of 3D scanners, making these models available for free hopefully attracts an audience outside of the typical museum audience. 3D models might end up in video games or architectural renderings, as well as in printed form.

Laric received the Contemporary Art Society Annual Award in 2012 for his proposal with The Collection Museum.
