British artist Anthony McCall (b. 1946), a key figure in the London Film-makers Co-operative in the 1970s, has developed a cross-disciplinary practice in which film, sculpture, installation, drawing and performance overlap.
For Tanya Leighton Gallery, McCall has developed a special new edition, drawn from his ‘solid light’ film series and dating back to 1973, the same year that the now-legendary Line Describing a Cone was made.
